Vacation Rentals
The Berkley Manor is proud to offer two vacation rentals on Ocracoke island – the Berkley Manor and Berkley Suites.
Both are wonderful options for large groups or multiple families who want to vacation together on Ocracoke. The Manor and Suites are located on the Berkley Estate with 2.5 acres to spread out or have plenty of green space for yard games and hanging out. Located across the street from Silver Lake and in close proximity to popular restaurants and shops, the homes’ locations allow visitors to make the most of their Ocracoke vacation.
The Berkley Manor
The Berkley Manor is a historic 1950s hunting lodge used today as an event venue and vacation rental. Its charismatic charm reflects “good ole” Ocracoke with hardwood floors, cyprus wood walls and ceilings, and cedar shakes on the exterior. It is a masterpiece, constructed by island legend Mr. Sam Jones. The house itself boasts four fireplaces, six bedrooms, five and a half baths, two lounge rooms complete with beautiful furniture, fully-equipped guest kitchen, dining room with seating for up to forty, and a widow’s peak with the best sunset views on Ocracoke. Rather than renting individual rooms, the entire house is available for rent year-round with a three-night minimum. A complimentary boat slip rental is included, subject to availability. Rates vary depending on the season but range from $400-$800 per night.
Berkley Suites
New to the Berkley Estate since 2018 is the brand-new Berkley Suites. The Suites were added back to the property in lieu of the previous guest house Mr. Sam Jones had constructed that had been demolished in changing ownership in the last couple decades. Today, the home provides additional accommodations for wedding parties and vacation rentals. The house gives off a relaxing ambience with a beach-house feel, including a coastal color scheme and comfortable amenities. The set up works well for large groups because it can be divided into three separate suites. Each suite contains two bedrooms and a shared bathroom, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker and sink. In addition, the house also features a common area with full guest kitchen and living room. Altogether, the house offers six bedrooms, four bathrooms, and an elevator. Similar to the Manor, the entire house is available for rent year-round with a three-night minimum. Rates vary depending on the season but range from $400-$800 per night.
