“Spring is nature’s way of saying let’s party!” – Robin Williams

Reflecting on Robin Williams’ quote, we are hoping the long cold winter weather is out for good and are eagerly embracing warm sunshine and golden days ahead.  It’s time for some spring fun and a good excuse for a party (at least this is our motivation as we continue to prepare for a spring season of events). Spring is a beautiful time on Ocracoke. The days are clean, crisp and refreshing, and a soft scent of flowers soon fill the air. Like many of you, we are taking advantage of the weather, including working in the yard and touching up the landscape around the Berkley grounds. We are excited at the thought of our first couple events just weeks away!

As we meet with prospect wedding parties and continue to work on the scenery, we felt this week’s blog post should focus on the floral arrangement aspect of weddings and events. Whether you are planning to have a wedding or party, intimate or grand affair, limited budget or none at all, flowers are the perfect component to reflect your personality and really make your event POP! In our past weddings and occasions, we have covered it all, from single centerpieces to sophisticated bouquets. Whatever your style or theme, two of Ocracoke’s best are sure to make your event stand out!

  • Annabelle’s Florist and Antiques
    • 324 Back Road
    • 252-928-4541
  • Ocracoke Style (in house vendor)

No matter the vendor, we strongly encourage parties to select floral arrangements prepared on Ocracoke. Our recommendation stems from past experiences- -unpredictable travel troubles or damaged products upon arrival. Here on Ocracoke we know the quality of product and service and can easily work with you to make sure your wedding or occasion is the best. After all, we want your day to be just as special as you do!   Let us help you make your big day one that’s even better than the daydreams.
